This is DeskVybz’ public prototype update hub. Each release is documented here so you can see what changed, why it matters, and what still needs testing before it becomes a stable release.

Before You Install
Prototype, not a promise.
- Install with a standard Windows account — administrator access is not required.
- Use Snapshot & Backup before changing a layout you care about.
- Windows may show a SmartScreen notice until future releases are code-signed.
Why This Update Matters
DeskVybz can now leave the browser.
Native Windows shell
A real desktop window and an installable, per-user package make it possible to test against actual monitors and Windows behavior.
Display controls
Windowed, windowed fullscreen, fullscreen, and common ultrawide-friendly sizes are available from the profile menu.
Vyb and workspace persistence
The companion now includes a working launch menu, local-model resources, and local autosave so each desktop keeps its own layout after switching or reopening the app.
